The match reminder is a plugin for ESL Wire (http://www.esl.eu/wire).

This plugin lets your manage reminders for your upcoming matches. Never forget a match while you are actually sitting at your PC and forgetting the time while watching streams for instance. Notifications can be shown in game (through ESL Wire when supported), via a balloon popup on the taskbar and voice announcement (Text-To-Speech (TTS)). Set multiple notifications before the scheduled start of match, set different options for each notification.

Uninstallation

Close ESL Wire before uninstalling.

If you used the installer then you can simply remove it using the uninstaller. You find it under Control Panel Programs/Add Remove Programs (“NuGardt ESL Wire Plugin Match Reminder (remove only)”).

If you used the archive to install, then you must delete the plugin file (“com.NuGardt.ESLWirePlugin.MatchReminder.dll”) from the \plugins folder of your ESL Wire installation (Usually at: “C:\Program Files\EslWire\plugins”).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question: Under settings some of my rows are coloured red and orange. What does that mean?
Answer: An orange coloured row means that the row before overlaps in notification duration. Red row means that one or more notification of the same type occurs at the same time.

Question: The balloon popup does not show for the length of the duration I have set in the plugin. Am I doing something wrong?
Answer: The duration of the balloon popup is controlled by the operating system. There is nothing I can do about that. Try settings notification right after each other for a prolonged notification exposure.

Question: I want to add more functionality to the plugin. Can I do it myself?
Answer: Yes. The plugin is open source. Check the Open Source section of this document for details.
